Maintaining is Easy, then Starting Again

Introduction -

Have you all felt this? We often come up with many new ideas, give a kick start to it with a bang, and try to maintain that with the same motivation. But as the progress slows down, we lose that momentum. Do you all agree with me? It must have happened to everyone. The excitement of new ideas waives off somewhere at a certain point in time.

Most often, people start going out to the gym with great motivation. Starting from Day 1 super excited, followed by Day 2, less excitement, and so on. As the day passes, the motivation for many waives off as they don’t want to cut off their sleep, change their routines.

What exactly you mean?

With all I am saying that are you able to connect with some of your habits whatever it may be? Currently, my focus is for those who start but are not able to maintain due to some of the other reasons. Does your mind says- Why did I ever stop? I personally question myself on this. It’s really hard to get back to what we started. A lot of effort is required to be in that same position and maintain that.

“Getting an audience is hard. Sustaining an audience is hard. It demands a consistency of thought, purpose, and action over a long period of time.” – Bruce Springsteen

With all the setbacks we have, we need a lot of consistent effort where we need to keep working towards that. Keep in mind the setbacks are temporary, how much effort we put in, there will always be rays of hope. We always have to keep improving on, maintain that.

Purpose of this Blog -

The main aim of writing this blog is to let my readers understand – it’s always easier to maintain than to stop and start all over again. When we stop, we lose that level of determination, mental fitness we possessed the day we started. It will take a lot of hard work to get back to that position and start all over again.

How would you maintain – Key points

1.       Always be Determined of what you want – The determination to get your goals fulfilled is one of the most important factors. Since life is never smooth, many of us fall when obstacles come. But to have firm determination is the key to success.

2.       Don’t lose Hope – Don’t stop believing that something you want to happen might be possible. One should not lose hope and confidence in what one is doing. So always maintain this hope in your mind to achieve bigger.

3.       Be Consistent – Everyone needs to be consistent. There may be rough days, which break you down. The day when you don’t feel like doing anything. Keep going. Keep doing what you can to maintain. Tomorrow is a new day with many new opportunities.

Conclusion-

Once you have created the foundation, it’s easier to maintain that rather than start all over again. This can happen in any relationship, at the workplace, in studies anytime. What all you need to maintain is hard work, effort. Every writer looks for their first sentence to reach out and grab their audience and not let them go. They do it by maintaining their writing once they have started.

Creating something from nothing is a great feeling. It’s
something we believe in and we want to continue doing it, so we have to have
the fortitude to keep it going. Let’s not forget this in any field we are in –
Maintaining is easy but starting all over again is really a tough job.
