A Self-Motivated Girl in the city

Friends, it’s been a long time since I’ve written on my personal blog. I’m sure you’ve been looking forward to reading my blog. Well, from a CA Inter background, an Accountant by profession, a new era of life has abruptly begun. Yes, I am the newcomer to town. I was fortunate enough to be hired as a Technical Content Writer by a corporation.

A journey that began in 2019, when I began writing for my own blogs, shared several experiences, and inspired you. The profession is still the same, but with a new focus. Let’s start with this blog, which is dedicated to my new life.

The Beginning –

As I was happy in my own pace of work, writing for my own blogs, freelancer work also came up, even I did internship for few projects where no amount was being paid but I happily did it to have an exposure. I carried almost 3-4 projects apart from my Personal websites.

Suddenly, last year, this organization reached me and emailed me, saying they liked my writing style but needed a full-time technical content writer. I was both delighted and concerned about whether I should participate. A few people I knew encouraged me to join so that I could gain expertise in this technological profession as well.

My perplexity didn’t fade away; rather, it grew, and I became more perplexed, if not afraid. Sitting at home for two years offered me the freedom to work at my own pace, care after my child, nap whenever I wanted, and not work if I was not in a good mood. These were my unique benefits, which I expected to lose once I started working a 9-hour full-time job.

But when I spoke with someone on whom I rely in all my situations, my concern became clear. And I was pleased with the way he explained things to me. The objective of sharing my own story is to tell the women out there that practically everyone in this world wants the girls in our life to pursue their aspirations, but the social culture, and media can send contradictory messages that impair their confidence level.

How Situations can be dealt with?

It’s never simple to deal with a scenario. It’s crucial how you deal with things. I’ve been down many times due to job, deliveries, and personal commitment, and I’ve failed many times, but I’ve never allowed my content to suffer as a result. Everyone is in a different situation yet dealing with every scenario necessitates bravery. Let’s go through a few pointers to help any female gain confidence in her ability to achieve her goals –

  1. Inquire about the “why” of her dreams – Having a reason for her aspirations can help her stay on track to achieve her dreams.
  2. Encourage her to picture her objectives – Whether she likes to scribble down her thoughts in a notebook or make a vision board out of magazine cutouts, a visual depiction of her goals can inspire her to achieve them.
  3. Celebrate her efforts rather than her accomplishments – By emphasizing how hard she worked rather than her results, you will help her gain confidence in her abilities and work ethic.
  4. Praise her abilities – her excellent spelling, good listening skills, killer jump shoot, or eagerness to help people in need are all things to praise.

The best advice I try to follow is – “Don’t be a One in a Million kind of Girl, Be a once in a Lifetime kind of Women.

Be Proud of Yourself –

Being a woman is something we should all be thankful for, yet we often forget to live our lives as we should. Situations and people can break us, but no matter how hard others attempt to break us down, we must believe in ourselves. A girl’s true self can only be discovered by her.

“Become that fearless girl who would dare to do anything,

An that independent girl who doesn’t need a guy,

Be that strong girl who everyone knew would make it through the worst.”

“And the girl who never gives up.”

We may have fallen several times and not wanted to get up the next time. Applying a strengths-based development approach, in which you focus on strengthening your strengths rather than trying to address your deficiencies, can help you truly own your talents. Your greatest source of potential is your strengths. You can achieve your most ambitious goals when you tap into this force.

Finally, I resolved to rediscover myself. If I can accomplish it, so can you. Don’t forget to make your aspirations a reality.

“Still the same girl with the same name. Just a different mindset and a new game. She Designed a Life that she loved.”
