“Be the reason of your smile- IF ONLY YOU COULD LOVE YOURSELF”

After a few months off, I’m back with my own thought process of telling you all about the most recent topic to be happy. I am sure we are all aware of this fact but find it difficult to apply in our daily lives. When we are struggling, our environment tells us, “Don’t be harsh on yourself, try to love yourself.” Do you actually listen to other people’s advice? I’m sure many of us will ignore it. A few words of advice may appear to be quite large, but they have a profound meaning and are simple to implement. People may take a few days to implement or years to comprehend the implications.

With the completion of this blog, I am confident that those who are seriously reading my blog will say, “Yeah, I know, I should.” There isn’t anyone who doesn’t want to love themselves. The only exception is that we prioritize a few people in our lives over ourselves. So we begin to love them unconditionally.

A famous piece of advice given to me recently  – “ love yourself. Love yourself before its too late, before you are all wrinkly and stick and wonder what could have been if you had just loved yourself a little bit more than you did.”

Implementation is difficult yet the best way

Consider how much happier and healthier you will be if you learn to love yourself. The best part is that you won’t be in a dangerous situation or spending time with people who are bad for you. You will be able to analyze a few things using this thought process –

  • You will recognize how valuable you are to those who enjoy spending time with you.
  • Stop attempting to change yourself into someone you were never meant to be.
  • Attempt to have the self-assurance, purpose, and determination to reach your full potential.
  • Forgiveness can help you release and heal from emotional traumas that are impeding your ability to move on.
  • Yoga, meditation, or quiet time for self-reflection can help you centre your mind.
  • Continue to grow and develop by staying current on the knowledge and skills required to thrive in today’s changing world.
  • Renew your heart and soul by expressing gratitude, appreciation, and kindness to others.
  • Instead of dwelling on what was or should have been in the past, live for the present and future.

What are we looking for?

We are humans seeking temporary happiness. Being with someone we care about makes us happy, as does receiving what we desired in terms of money, gifts, great wine, great food, and a few amazing travel experiences. All of this is referred to as “momentary satisfaction.” Well, I don’t deny that we all require such fulfilment in order to live. But this isn’t true self-love. True self-love remains unfulfilled. The truth is that what causes us to grow as humans is our perception of what self-love entails.

The fundamental issue with all of us is that we do not set out on a mission to engage in such activities that will result in fun and frolic. Develop and nurture our inner strengths and spirits through daily activities such as yoga, meditation, nurturing love, relaxation, and self-love.

Concentrate on what discipline helps you grow when you practice it consistently. Whatever actions blow you open, quiets your mind, calms you, or propels you forward in all the right ways.

The best poem I know you always teach me (From my well-wishers) –

Consider the positive.

Is what my ears always ring with,

Do not believe otherwise  One can be optimistic

I always tell you in your ear

To avoid overthinking,

Because it will wash away your fears

When praying

Do not entertain negative thoughts.

Continue to say positive things.

You will find peace and happiness.

This will dispel your fears.
