“Silence is a true friend who never betrays you.” I’ve begun to believe in it. Have you as well? We will all go through periods in our lives when we require silence, and those who truly know us will understand. I used to despise it when adults told me to sit quietly as a child. Everyone has a lot of energy as a child and would love to talk about anything.
As we grew older, we began to understand how much to speak and where to speak. The speaking began to turn into fear, and silence became a part of our lives. I used to wonder how people could be silent. But I’d always wanted to know what silence was. I’ve discovered the so-called word “silence” over the years. This word appears to be a single word, but it has a complex meaning.
We all need time to ourselves in an increasingly stressful world. It’s time to be quiet for a while so we can get to know ourselves better. What if a person who was always active became silent one day? There may be times when people become silent out of necessity rather than choice. Silence can be a killer for a select few.
“The quieter you become, the more you can hear.”
People all over the world are now wishing to remain silent. Silence does not imply that the person wishes to resign; rather, it indicates that the person does not wish to argue with people who do not wish to understand.
Of course, I never mentioned this in my previous blogs because people would say I have hallucinations. I survived and took this far away from where I wanted to be lost somewhere, not forced by anyone, and was lost in my thoughts. I’ve discovered that silence grows inside me over the course of a few years. I’m not the same person I used to be… Few people who know me well can undoubtedly relate to this and accept me for who I have become.
I’d like to share a few observations with you
- Make time for yourself – This is the best way to be with yourself. Go for a walk in the park, barefoot on the grass, so you can feel yourself and listen to the silence. The closer you are to nature, the better you will feel.
- Silence channels our energy – When a person is silent, he or she has the clarity to face challenges and uncertainty calmly. It is the silent state of the self that exists beyond all noise constructs
- Awareness of Oneself – Silence Increases self-awareness, compassion, and decision-making abilities. According to studies, self-compassion improves emotional well-being significantly. It increases happiness, decreases anxiety and depression, and can even aid in the maintenance of healthy lifestyle habits such as diet and exercise.
How lovely would silence be?
When there are no errors
How lovely would silence be?
When there is no time to be angry
How lovely would silence be?
When there is no explanation
How lovely would silence be?
When there isn’t time to alleviate the pain
Not everyone can sense my silence. Only a few people who know me well can read the silence. You may have excuses such as “no time,” “it’s really difficult,” “let me finish the task,” and so on. when you might need to be alone. That’s the time when you should spend some time in your own space. Pay attention to your inner voice. A voice in my heart is a silent voice; there are no words. The more I listen, the stronger I become. A walk in the park, a sip of your favorite tea in your bedroom, or a good night’s sleep – silence revitalizes your mind and heart in a variety of ways. So, turn off your phone, take a break, and allow your body to bask in the sweet serenity of silence.
The silence was not in my blood.
It was not my fault that I had a bad attitude.
The pain was not what I desired, and loneliness was not my chapter.
Nonetheless, I’ve learned to live on my own.
Very well written ✨✨
